Christmas in the nineties, there's so much that I remember, writing out a box of Christmas cards at the beginning of December. Highlighting the Argos catalogue, circling presents for my list, writing my letter to Santa, ensuring no present was missed. Singing along to Christmas songs whilst watching Top of the Pops, shaking presents under the tree, and thinking "That's a selection box." Tinsel hung on the tree and across the fireplace, finally being allowed to open the tin of Roses and stuffing my little face. Foil decorations that hung from the ceiling, the excitement of Christmas Eve, the most magical feeling. Highlighting the TV guide, so I knew which films would be showing, so many different coloured lights placed on the tree the whole living room was glowing. Going to see a store Santa Claus and pulling a random toy out of a sack, so many memories that now bring me joy as an adult looking back. I don't remember many of my presents but oh how I love my memories, the wonderful things about my childhood at Christmas that will always stay with me.
