Great question, Mia! Personally for me, that is not the case because I have a ton of family in the US and am surrounded by friends + community at any given moment 😊I am also more extroverted, so living abroad has only been more socio- emotionally expansive for me. However, I am aware that that is not the case for everyone. While most schools & even companies have dedicated groups for folks from different cultures, loneliness is a reality for many internationals.
