🔥 Tension & Trauma Release Exercise (TRE) 🔥 Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind—it lives in the body. TRE is a simple somatic practice that helps release stored tension through natural shaking. 🌿 How to Practice Lie on your back somewhere safe and comfortable. (Optional) Do a light wall sit or squat for 30–60 seconds. Bring the soles of your feet together, knees open. Keep feet close so the outer edges stay grounded. Gently press into your feet and lift your hips slightly. Hold 20–30 seconds, then lower. Let your knees come slightly inward so your legs feel engaged. Stay here and allow your legs to tremble. Don’t force it—just let it happen. You’re always in control. Straighten your legs or pause anytime. When finished, extend your legs and rest. ⏱️ Start with 1–5 minutes and build slowly. ⚠️ Go gently. Stop if overwhelmed. 🕊️ Your body already knows how to release—you’re just giving it permission. ✨ One of the most powerful somatic tools I’ve used in my own healing. — The Purple Phoenix Collective 💜
