may a man with a good heart find me. i hope he doesn't see me as an angry woman, but as someone who has been hurt before. i hope he understands that my walls are there for a reason. instead of asking me to lower my guard, i hope he chooses to slowly earn my trust. i hope he takes time to learn the small things about me and tries to understand them. i hope he is patient with my healing and soft with my heart. i hope he knows that i have been broken once, so i'm still learning how to trust and feel safe again.
