I'm in my "I DON'T HAVE TO" era I don't have to overextend myself for people who wouldn't do the same for me. I don't have to be the bigger person just to keep the peace. I don't have to fix what I didn't break. I don't have to keep showing up for those who never show up for me. And most importantly, I don't have to sacrifice my happiness just to make everyone else comfortable. My time, my energy, my peace. They matter too.
