A big lesson I have learned in relationships A big lesson I have learned in relationships is that love is not measured by potential. It's measured by reality. By what someone consistently does, not by what they keep promising they will do. For a long time, I held onto who people could become instead of paying attention to who they were being. That mistake cost me more peace than I care to admit. I also learned that communication means very little without action. You can have all the conversations in the world, explain your feelings perfectly, and make your needs crystal clear. But if nothing changes afterwards, the answer is already there. Some people hear you. Very few actually listen. And perhaps the hardest lesson of all: you cannot love someone into becoming the person you need them to be. No amount of patience, understanding, or loyalty can do another person's growing for them. The right relationship will not require you to constantly convince yourself to accept less than what your heart already knows it deserves.
Others want to hear from you, so why not share your thoughts ☁️
