Deep down, we believe that we're meant to be with someone who returns our effort and loves us back the way we love them. But when it comes to acting on this, when it's time to leave the ones who aren't good for you anymore, it's difficult to go through with it. It's excruciating to abandon a relationship you worked so hard for and invested so much of yourself into. And even though you're aware it's the right thing to do, it's not an easy change to make. You don't just have to talk yourself into getting out of a commitment that no longer serves you well. You also have to prepare yourself for the pain that comes with it. You have to convince yourself that hurting this way is better than staying with someone who stopped being the person you fell in love with a long time ago.
Others want to hear from you, so why not share your thoughts ☁️
