I'm not the perfect image you've created, nor am I the facade you've chosen to believe. I'm not going to be what you want me to be; I'm going to be me. I'm just a human who is forever changing, grow-ing, and learning. I won't always be the same; some days I'll be glowing and others I'll be gloomy. I'll make mistakes, unlearn, and only disappoint you if you're holding me to perfec-tion. Love me for who I am, and my essence, not for who you want me to be. I don't want to hurt you because you couldn't appreciate who I was. I'm not here to meet your expectations, I'm here to be real. I'm here to be loved, seen, and understood—just like you. So please, don't fall in love with your idea of me. I promise the authentic version is better, but it's okay if I'm not your fantasy. I'd rather be someone's truth.
