You give excuses to people who always hurt you because you want to see the best out of them, you want to give them chances. You're not stupid for loving anyone with your entirety. Here's a hard pill you have to swallow. You won't be able to change anyone with your love. You cannot make anyone love you no matter how much you do for them. If they are not meant to be there, they will leave. You really cannot just hold onto their existence because it feels a little less lonely, a little less chaotic.
