I hope when my kids are grown, they laugh and say, 'My mom was always in my business. She asked too many questions, wanted to know where I was, who I was with, and how I was really doing.' Because the alternative is distance. And distance is what happens when love stops showing up. I'll choose being 'too much' over being absent, every single time.
