They know you've seen through their games, and that terrifies them more than anything. Second, they take your boundaries as revenge - like you're doing it to punish them. They never once stop to think that maybe you're just doing it to protect yoursell. Because to them, everything has always been about them - their control. their comfort, their ego. They can't stand the idea that you're no longer available for their manipulation anymore. Maybe they're mad because they can't use you, drain you, or fool you like before. And honestly, it just proves who the real idiot was all along - and it's not you.
