We judge ourselves far more than the people around us, and there's a reason for that. Because we often give far more importance to people than they actually deserve. We care so much about their opinions that we slowly start seeing ourselves through their eyes. Try getting to know them properly fürst. Try taking a step back and actually getting to know them properly before placing them on that pedestal. The moment you see who they really are, the illusion fades pretty quickly. You realize you were trying to impress people who don't even impress themselves. The ones whose own standards quietly disappear the moment they have to apply them. Most of them are just mediocre at best, with very confident opinions. That's why they have so much free time to hand out unsolicited advice everywhere. They're too lazy to follow their on advice, and there you were trying to impress them... funny, isn't it.
Others want to hear from you, so why not share your thoughts ☁️
