You cannot heal in the same environment that keeps poisoning you One of the hardest truths I had to accept is that some places, people, and situations can be familiar and still be harmful. Just because something has been part of your life for years does not mean it deserves permanent access to you. Sometimes the very thing you are trying to recover from is the same thing you keep returning to. Healing requires honesty. It requires you to stop calling chaos comfort simply because it is familiar. It requires you to stop convincing yourself that your pain will disappear while you remain in the exact place where it is constantly being recreated. No flower can grow in soil that is repeatedly being poisoned. At some point, you have to love yourself enough to choose a different environment. Different conversations. Different habits. Different boundaries. Not because you hate what hurt you, but because you finally understand that your peace deserves a chance to exist. Some chapters can only end when you stop walking back into the same room that taught you how to suffer.
Others want to hear from you, so why not share your thoughts ☁️
