Nothing confuses me anymore There is a different kind of peace that comes with truly knowing yourself. I no longer panic every time someone misunderstands me or tries to define me based on their own perception. I've spent enough time with myself to know my intentions, my heart, my values, and the kind of person I am becoming. And once you reach that level of self understanding, people lose the ability to easily manipulate how you see yourself. I used to absorb everything people said about me, even when it wasn't true. I questioned myself constantly, trying to understand if I was the problem, if I needed to change, if I was asking for too much. But over time, I realized that confusion grows when you rely on other people to define your identity for you. The moment I started listening to myself more than outside noise, everything became clearer. Now I trust my instincts more. I notice when something feels off instead of explaining it away. I no longer betray my own feelings just because someone else wants me to doubt them. Knowing myself has made me harder to control, harder to guilt, and harder to break. Because when you truly know who you are, you stop needing permission to stand in your truth.
