did you see that, mom? i'm 20 now. i didn't run away from home, and i didn't have a child too young. even now, i'm still taking my time, still a little scared, but slowly learning. no addictions, no clubbing. i'm barely even used to going out yet. i'm just working for my future, trying to live right, and trying, little by little, to break the cycle we were born into. you really raised me well, mom. you raised someone kind, careful, and strong even on hard days. everything good in me started with the love and sacrifices you gave me growing up.
