They tried to condition me and failed, because I refused to bend into their mold. Then they tried to control me and failed, because I wouldn't surrender my freedom. They tried to manipulate me and failed, because my intuition caught their games every time. Finally, they tried to abuse me and failed again, because my strength outgrew their tactics. So they did what weak, jealous, insecure people always do-they painted me the villain. When they can't destroy you, they try to influence others to see you as crazy. And for that, oddly enough, I'm thankful-they revealed what I couldn't see myself. They helped me identify the people I'd surrounded myself with, masks and all removed. Now I know who truly loves me, who cares, and who waits for dirt.
Let's celebrate life's little blessings together. A space to share what you're thankful for and cultivate a habit of gratitude. Inspire others and be inspired by the power of appreciation.
