There is always this quiet argument about whether life is long or life is short, but I think life is both, miraculously long and ridiculously short at the same time. It is long enough to begin again after failure, long enough to learn, to change, to wander down roads you never planned to take, to chase dreams that scare you, to become someone you once thought you could never be. Even when you feel lost, life gives you seasons to grow, to try, to fall, to stand back up, to discover new passion. There is time to laugh loudly, to create, to forgive yourself, to heal, to create something beautiful and steady Yet life is also heartbreakingly short, too short to carry grudges like heavy stones in your pockets, too short to let pride stop you from saying "I'm sorry" or "I miss you," too short to postpone kindness, to delay love, to assume there will always be another conversation, another visit, another tomorrow. It is short when it comes to the people we cherish, the moments that pass without warning, the ordinary days that later turn out to be the ones we wish we had held onto more tightly. So we are given just enough time to plant seeds we may never see bloom, and just little enough time to remind us to cherish every flower already in our hands. And in the end, life is neither a race nor a pause, but a fragile melody, long enough to learn the song, yet short enough that we must sing it while we can.
