I don't rebuild bridges I didn't burn. I have spent too much time standing in front of broken bridges, looking at the pieces and wondering if I should be the one to fix them. But I learned that | am not responsible for things I didn't break. It is not my job to repair what someone else chose to destroy and walk away from. I'm not here to carry all the guilt or pain for something I didn't cause. A bridge between two people only works when both people want to keep it standing. It takes effort from both sides. So no, ! won't chase people who chose to leave, and I won't keep fighting for people who never once fought for me.
