If they ask me not to believe what they said in anger because they were overwhelmed with emotions, then hore exactly am I supposed to believe what they say when they are overwhelmed with love? Both are feelings, aren't they? So either love and anger are both fake, or they are both real. Which means they are either faking the love or faking the anger, and honestly, at this point, it doesn't even matter which one it is. What matters is that something in the performance is fake. And on top of that, they expect me to accept their revised version like I wasn't there for the original scene. Like my memory resets the moment they change their tone. Like I will quietly replace what I heard with what is now convenient for them. It's almost as if they assume I'm too naive to connect basic dots. And that assumption right there is the most insulting part of all.
