The things that break us are often the very things that open your eyes in ways nothing else could. They make us pause and wonder if this is truly how our life is meant to be. They push us to reflect on whether this is the life we want to keep living. The things that break us show us how often we've dimmed our light for others' comfort, how many times we've silenced our voice to avoid making someone uncomfortable, and how often we've compromised our needs just to keep everyone pleased. But they also awaken us. They help us see people for who they truly are and remind us that we never have to shrink to make space for someone else. They mirror back the patterns we adopted to protect ourselves, the habits we once thought kept us safe but only kept us small. The things that break us empower us to never settle for less, to recognise our worth, and to open ourselves to those who cherish us as we are. They help us grow beyond our comfort shell, giving us clarity on what well tolerate and what well walk away from. They teach us to let go, to trust, and to stay open to the goodness life still holds. While I am still learning to accept that, I am deeply grateful for it all. Being broken was never a loss, only a redirection towards something greater in disguise.
Let's celebrate life's little blessings together. A space to share what you're thankful for and cultivate a habit of gratitude. Inspire others and be inspired by the power of appreciation.
