Welcome to day one of our Addiction Recovery Chakra Pathway! This 10-week journey focuses on one chakra per week, with daily posts. ​We begin with the Earth Star Chakra, an anchor connecting our soul with the Earth's core energies and it's electromagnetic field. Also known as Vasundhara ("Daughter of the Earth"), it is located 12 to 18 inches beneath the soles of the feet in our etheric body. Its colors are earthy brown, black, and deep red. This chakra links us to the present moment, nature, our ancestors, and the collective consciousness. It can bring us a sense of safety, regeneration, stability, and grounding, while transmuting negative energies. ​In addiction, we often get pulled out of physical reality (usually to escape pain), inviting chaos into our environment. Before diving into any deep psychological or spiritual work, we must stabilize our reality, escape the constant fight-or-flight state, and create a safe baseline for healing. For today, simply pick any affirmations that resonate with you from the list in the comments. Repeat it to yourself while standing barefoot outside, sitting by a tree, or holding and meditating on an Earth element such as a dark colored stone. Be sure to speak them aloud, with enough conviction that you can feel vibrations in your chest/throat!
