I have found that my mind is very loud, and my heart speaks more softly. To listen to it, I usually do a "gut check" - does this feel right and good? Or bad and wrong? Usually that helps lead me in the direction of my heart even if my mind has other ideas.

Good questions, I often struggle in identifying which is my heart speaking and which is my mind!
