Feelin introspective today! I was just replying to Sophia’s post here when I realized that’s it’s been during some of my biggest achievements that I have felt empty & lost. Can anyone else relate? Things I worked hard to ‘get’, often left me feeling empty & sad afterwards. And actual happiness has been in the little things like, laughing with a friend, making someone else happy, being of service, cuddling with my cat, making a nice meal, walking in nature, not burning the cake! 😀 etc etc. Anyone else relate? Maybe happiness isn’t something we need to work hard to achieve, maybe happiness is about being grateful for everything we have, be it good or something that gives us an opportunity to learn and grow from… just a thought!
