"this will be the last time these people are going to make me feel this way." i've said this to myself more times than i can count, but this time i mean it. i'm tired of giving chances to people who keep crossing my boundaries like it's nothing. i'm done explaining the same things and hoping they'll finally understand. i've learned that some people don't change, no matter how patient you are. so this time, i'm choosing myself. if protecting my peace means creating distance, then so be it. not every ending is a loss. sometimes it's just me finally realizing i deserve better.
