HEALING while LOVING The notion that you need to heal yourself completely before stepping into a connection is not the whole truth. Healing doesn't only happen in solitude. You don't need to close yourself off from the world because you need to heal. You can heal yourself while loving and being loved by someone else, but you need to be aware of where you are in your journey and accept that you need to heal without expecting them to fix you. You need to know what your triggers are, what isn't healthy for you, and the right boundaries to have in place. You need to build a foundation strong enough so you don't fall for the same patterns and cycles from before. So, there's nothing wrong with starting your healing first, until you're in a place to truly embrace and appreciate those who come into your life to heal with you, because healing doesn't mean letting someone mend your wounds. Healing is to love and be loved without expecting anyone to heal you, that's where real peace lives.
