It's always the people who don't know a single thing about you who end up talking the most nonsense about you. I always wondered why. I guess it's because they want to knoze about you, but something in them just doesn't earn them access. And when they can't get close, curiosity quietly turns into irritation. They don't actually want to know you, they want the details, the inside story, the dirt they can carry around like gossip souvenirs. But somehow my overly intuitive, amateur detective brain picks up on their motives pretty early. So I keep my distance from the very beginning. And I guess that annoys them even more, because now they have nothing real to talk about. So their cute little delusional minds just start inventing stories anyway, while my so called psychic radar quietly keeps me far, far away. Which, I guess, explains why my circle is extremely peaceful... and extremely small. Still better company than people with imaginary storylines about my life.
