They say, "You're making this hard." What they mean is you stopped shrinking. You stopped cleaning up their chaos. You stopped accepting disrespect with a smile. When someone calls you difficult, it's often because you're no longer convenient. You're no longer available to be crossed, ignored, or used as an emotional cushion. They don't want peace. They want access. They want permission without accountability. And if having boundaries makes me "difficult," then I'll wear that title without apology. Love does not excuse disrespect. History does not earn entitlement. Familiarity does not give anyone the right to treat you carelessly. If you've known me this long, you should already know the line. Learn where it is. And don't cross it.
