Chronic stress sounds really scary. I really admire you for searching for answers and doing something with it. Well obviously the first step would be to avoid the stressors whichever they are and that's sometimes not easy and depends on invidual situation but minimising them is always good. So I would also recommend you to journal a bit about how your day was or what made you stressed that day, it can even be one sentence a day before bed, it will help you recognise bunch of stuff and see a bigger clearer picture with time, or try meditation or anything relaxing that you find to enjoy. How is your quality of sleep? Healthy sleeping habits can regulate stress too so maybe try to focus on that. Im personally starting to implement "worry time" to my life. You basically plan a time in your day, where you let yourself be stressed and worry, after that you do a calming activity to make you feel better. Every time you start to worry ABT something you say either : I already worried about this, or I will worry about thisnext worry time I have, not now. Hope some of the advice was even slightly useful.
