(1) Hey everyone, I’m Anupriya! You may know me as the Marketplace Manager at Sol, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting you in building your presence, content, courses, and sessions for our users. It’s been an honor to witness the incredible work you bring to this platform. My own spiritual journey began in my teens, during a period of depression when I was searching for purpose. I explored various spiritual practices and eventually found my home in Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism. Embracing this path in high school wasn’t always easy—I faced stigma from peers for being drawn to spirituality at such a young age. Beyond practice, I was deeply passionate about the intersection of spirituality, personal growth, and intellectual exploration. I wrote extensively on these topics, using writing as a way to process and share my evolving perspective.

(2) At 19, I came up with a startup idea called Seek—a spirituality app designed to connect seekers with aligned spiritual practices in their local radius. I pitched this idea at a startup weekend during undergrad and even started working on a website with an engineer friend. However, as a broke college grad balancing my music and research career, the project had to take a backseat. After graduating from Teachers College in the Spirituality, Mind & Body program, I aspired to pursue a Ph.D. that combined spirituality and conflict resolution. Though I was waitlisted and didn’t get in, life had other plans—I soon discovered Sol and landed my role here. Mystically, it felt like a full-circle moment, aligning beautifully with my startup idea from years ago, one that I was most passionate about. I’m so excited to be in this space with you all, and I look forward to growing together in this journey! 💫 (Here’s a picture of me with the poster for Seek in my undergrad dorm room back in 2019—a small but meaningful reminder of how the seeds of this journey were planted years ago!)
