I want our children to grow up knowing what real love is, because their mum and dad lived it every day. I want them to see how natural it is to treat and be treated with respect, trust, understanding, and compassion. The kind of love that feels safe and steady. That bursts into laughter at the most unexpected moments. That rest in in soft kisses, tight hugs, and gentle touches never hidden away from them. That shines in the way we look at each other with devotion, in the countless "I love yous", in playful teasing and sincere appreciation, even when the other is not around. I want them to witness love that holds hands on both good days and difficult ones. Love that speaks through sweet gestures and thoughtful consideration. Because one day, they too will go searching for love of their own. And when they do, I want them to know, deep in their bones, that love is beautiful, it exists, and they never need to settle for anything less. May they remember that their mum and dad never stopped loving each other, and may that be their proof that love can last, tender and true.
Let's celebrate life's little blessings together. A space to share what you're thankful for and cultivate a habit of gratitude. Inspire others and be inspired by the power of appreciation.
