Hi Sophia, if you ask yourself honestly, do you know deep down why this may be? Is it because you don’t feel truly seen or understood? Or have learnt that you can’t trust people or that you can’t be yourself truly without being judged. This is often stuff we bring from our childhood and it could be helpful to talk to someone and figure it out, I know it helped me! Therapy helped me see that my emotional needs were never met as a child, so I ended up choosing partners to mirrored this. Eventually I got fed up and pulled away. But then when I figured this out, I was better able to connect with others. Hope this is helpful 🥰
