Sometimes you need to forgive them again and again until your heart finally has enough. Sometimes moving on at the first chance leaves you with questions unanswered and less closure than if you were to let them carry on and disappoint you for a final time. Don't be hard on yourself for wanting to see the best in them, for being patient. They chose to take advantage of that fact and it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. At least in the end, you can take solace knowing the what its don't exist because you tried it all and nothing changed.
