All that Christmas magic, our belief in Santa Claus, was a very hard-working Mum, who did it all with no applause. A Mum who never took the credit, who never gave it a second thought, who let you believe that Santa and his Elves gifted every present that she bought. The shopping, the wrapping, the perfect hiding place, so you could feel the magic and she could see the excitement on your face. A Mum who loved to hear you talk of Santa and the jingle of his sleigh, who couldn't wait to hear you shout "He's beeeeeeen" when you woke on Christmas Day. And now when you think back to the magic, and the wonderful memories from your childhood, you know it was the love of your Mum, just doing everything she could.
