Earth Chakra Activity #3: Deliberately plan a meal centered entirely around roasted root vegetables and dark colored foods.* Foods that grow in the dark, dense earth are the ultimate Earth Star anchors. When we consume them, or foods that carry dense weight, we signal to the physical body that we are grounded. Think potatoes, carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, and ginger. The Earth Star also resonates with dark reds, browns, and blacks. Black beans, dark lentils, blackberries, and mineral-rich sea salt naturally align with this frequency. *Early recovery is exhausting. If preparing a meal feels impossible and threatens to trigger a relapse, I encourage you to utilize food delivery services and have them bring you a heavy, comforting, grounding meal. The goal is the intake of the anchor, not necessarily the labor of cooking it.
