You do not heal in chaos alone. You need a nest. Not a perfect life. Not constant productivity. Not a forced “high vibration” existence where you pretend everything is okay. A nest. Somewhere your nervous system can unclench a little. Maybe that looks like: * soft blankets and dim lights * music that slows your breathing * a journal nobody else reads * tea before bed * blocking the person who keeps reopening the wound * letting yourself rest without earning it * sitting outside and listening to birds * one safe human who doesn’t make you perform Trauma teaches people to survive in storms so long that peace can start to feel unfamiliar. Sometimes healing begins with building small moments of safety your body can actually trust. Build a nest for the version of you that is still healing. Not because you are weak. Because injured wings deserve somewhere gentle to land. The Purple Phoenix Collective 🪺
