Franz Fuchs (12 December 1949 – 26 February 2000) was an Austrian domestic terrorist. Between 1993 and 1997, Fuchs killed four people and injured 15, some of them seriously, using three improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and 24 mail bombs sent in five waves.
Criminal psychologists characterized him as a highly intelligent but socially inept loner. His intended targets were people he considered to be foreigners, or organizations and individuals "friendly to foreigners".
