A pioneer and thought-leader at the intersection of science and spirituality, Dr Miller is the Founder of the Spirituality, Mind, Body Institute (SMBI) at Columbia University and New York Times best-selling author of "The Spiritual Child" and the “The Awakened Brain”.
Dr Miller is one of the pioneers in the field of spiritual psychology, and is the former Editor of the Oxford University Press Handbook of Psychology and Spirituality, Founding Co-Editor-in-Chief of the APA journal Spirituality in Clinical Practice, and the President of the American Psychology Association (APA) Society for Psychology and Spirituality.
One of the world’s foremost experts on Buddhism and eastern spiritual traditions, Professor Robert Thurman is a Professor Emeritus of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University and the Co-founder and President of Tibet House in New York. He was ordained by the Dalai Lama in 1965 as the first American Buddhist monk of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is the first endowed chair in Buddhist Studies in the West.
Named one of the “30 Most Influential Neuroscientists Alive Today”, Dr. Andrew Newberg is the author of ten books (translated into 16 languages), and over 200 articles on neuroimaging in neuropsychiatric disorders and also on neuroscience and religion.Dr. Newberg’s research has been featured in Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the New Scientist, StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, CNN, ABC World News Tonight, Time, National Geographic, Discover, New York Times, Popular Mechanics, O Magazine, London Observer, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Readers Digest.
As one of the most-respected voices in interfaith collaboration, Chaplain Sharon Kugler is the University Chaplain to Yale, where she is responsible for helping serve the needs of one of the most religiously and spiritually diverse campuses in the world.She is also an Executive Committee member of the International Association of Chaplains in Higher Education (IACHE) and is the Past President of the National Association of College and University Chaplains (NACUC) as well as of the Association of College and University Religious Affairs (ACURA).
Alex is a lifelong designer who, as a teenager co-founded the digital agency Sideshow, which went on to produce award-winning work for a variety of global clients. After getting acquired in 2011, Alex joined Airbnb as its Chief Design Officer.
With over 20 years as a writer and creative director, David has defined and executed messaging for some of the greatest companies in the world, including Apple (where he was a creative director), Visa, Gap, Sierra Club, as well as startups like Venmo, Square, One Medical, LIFX, Shift, and many others launching soon.
A long-time 'profits with a purpose' technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, Nazar is the founder of Rise Capital, one of the world’s most preeminent investment firms focused on purpose-driven companies led by underrepresented founders from Developing Countries. Nazar studied engineering at Georgia Tech and received a JD and MBA from Northwestern University. In recognition of his achievements, in 2017 Nazar received Northwestern University’s Distinguished Entrepreneur Award.
A lifelong technology entrepreneur and coder, Adrian started his first company right out of high school, which was eventually acquired by SAY Media in San Francisco. He then later joined Airbnb as one of their early executives, going on to serve as Director of Design where he built and led design and product teams for growth & traffic, infrastructure, and design operations teams.
