I’ve adorned my front room walls with all kinds of paintings 🖼️. Most days I look at them and derive such pleasure and inspiration from them. Many I got from charity shops, so it don’t cost much at all 🤩

Any one tried free drawing as a form of spiritual practice?

Hey, would you say that baking falls into the spirituality creative category? I find baking a deeply meditative & creative process. I feel fulfilled, grounded and whole afterwards. I love to bake & to make new recipes up.

I am a trauma survivor. After my house fire left me homeless and my sister died a week later from an overdose, I had a moment when the pain was just too great. I crumbled to the floor of the motel room I was staying and sobbed and screamed for hours in the fetal position. My friend Jack held my hand and comforted me. The next morning, we painted this together. I drew the crying woman and painted purple waves around her. Jack called me “Wavy Purple” after that, and that became my new identity. The woman who survived. It was a moment of intense spiritual transformation. I became a phoenix, rising from the ashes, newly empowered and ready for the next chapter of my life. I never looked back.

Had such a great time with my friend on Sunday being creative! I wanted to do some still life but my hands had other plans 😂 Turns out I just wanted to free draw whatever I was feeling …. It was SO relaxing. I felt great! My friend came prepared 🎨

I have a friend coming over on Sunday to do art and crafts together. We’re trying to find ways to bring light into our days. Looking forward to being creative again!

Hi, I’ve only just seen this circle! Could you tell me some more about it please?

I once took the VIA character strengths test. My top character strengths were spirituality & creativity- the 2 traits I identify with the MOST! I have been spiritual since a young age, primarily practicing Nichiren Buddhism but also engaging deeply in learning & studying new age practices & other frameworks. I am also a writer & musician. I write personal growth recipes, spiritual quotes, & a lot of nuanced ideas about spirituality and the modern world. Musically, I produce and DJ electronic music. I am also a singer songwriter, & not a day goes by when I don’t jam out to my favorite music or try to curate something. I have an electronic fusion single coming out in a few months called “Ittefak”, which means coincidence, or synchronicity! I am a deep spiritual creative 🌿🌟💕🥰
