Their second birth occurs when they are initiated to study the Vedas and perform rituals. Kshatriyas: The warrior and ruling class. Their spiritual birth traditionally begins when they are initiated into the study of statecraft and the use of arms. Vaishyas: The merchant and agricultural class. Their second birth begins when they take up trades, commerce, or agriculture

Dwija (Sanskrit: द्विज) translates to "twice-born". In Hindu tradition, the first birth is physical, while the second occurs during the Upanayana (sacred thread) initiation. This ceremony marks a spiritual rebirth when an individual begins their formal education and commitment to Dharma.
