In Western Christianity, Holy Innocents, also known as the Feast of the Holy Innocents, Childermas or Innocents’ Day, is a Christian feast in remembrance of the massacre of the young children in Bethlehem by King Herod the Great, in his attempt to kill the infant Jesus.

This day is traditionally observed as a Feast, which includes reciting the Gloria.
