Uranus at Opposition

In Science, Uranus at Opposition, which is when Uranus will be at its closest approach to Earth and have its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun, normally only appears as a tiny blue-green dot to the naked human eye due to its great distance from earth.

This event usually is only visible to a telescope with a magnification of at least 100x. You may have to find a dark location away from city lights, and let your eyes adjust to the darkness for ~20 minutes.
