Hand gestures or "Hasta mudras" are often used in eastern traditions to help catalyze different emotional and physical processes.

It is used during yoga practice to center the mind and body before and after sessions, and encourages mindfulness, intention setting, and self-awareness. This mudra commonly accompanies pranayama (breathwork) and meditation.

To do it, bring both of your hands to the level of your heart so that both palms and all of your fingers are touching. Try to hold this position for a few minutes.
