Yoga meditation technique involves combining a yoga pose (asana) with rhythmic breathing (prāṇāyāma) and mental focus (dhāraṇā).

The yoga pose you choose can be sitting, standing, or another kind of pose, and there are several types of breathing patterns and mental focus tools you can choose as well.

If this meditation technique is applied for a few minutes it is believed it can help you achieve the highest state of absorbed consciousness (samādhi).
