Our ancestors spent thousands of years gazing at the night sky as a way of feeling spiritually connected. Tonight, try to look at the stars, and feel a sense of perspective and appreciation for the universe's vastness.

If there is a particularly noteworthy astronomical event like a full moon or a meteor shower, consider using binoculars or a telescope to get a closer look (or if it's something really rare like an eclipse, make sure you have the proper glasses to protect your eyes!)

Taking a few moments to observe what's happening in the natural world around you is a great way to spend time in nature, and doing so is scientifically proven to stimulate better physical, mental, and spiritual health.
