If you have trouble sitting still for long enough to meditate, try doing a 'walking meditation' instead.

To do it, walk slowly and mindfully, focusing on the sensation of your feet touching the ground. Walking around in this way for just a few minutes - purposefully paying attention to each footfall and how it feels - is another form of effective meditation.
