Some people have difficulty keeping their eyes closed for long enough to meditate. If that sounds like you, you can try 'visual meditation'.

To do it, simply choose any soothing object around you that can hold your attention. Many people use candles for this or something they see in nature like a cloud, a celestial object, or a tree or plant they encounter outside.

Whatever object you choose, let your focus rest there for a few minutes, and you will have successfully meditated.
