If you have ever "counted sheep" to try to get to sleep, you will be familiar with this meditation technique.

To do it, you simply close your eyes, breathe slowly, and count up or down to a specific number, aligning your counting with your breathing. Doing this for just a few minutes can foster a sense of calm and clarity.
