Do an "Aarti" ritual
Illuminate your soul with a sacred ritual
Hinduism & Dharma
Use tools like yoga and meditation from the world's oldest religion to focus on karma (actions), dharma (duty), and devotion to the divine.
Aarti is a Hindu ritual to honor a specific deity, or manifestation of ultimate reality ("Brahman").
Common deities honored include Vishnu, Shiva, Durga, Lakshmi, Ganesh, Saraswati, Krishna, Rama, and Kali, who each represent a different aspect of ultimate reality.
To do it, light a candle or an oil lamp ("diya") and move it in a clockwise circular motion in front of a deity's image or idol to invoke their blessings.
The light of the flame represents knowledge and wisdom, illuminating the darkness of ignorance and untruth.
