In Hindu tradition yoga poses, or "asanas", are believed to help stimulate different physical processes in the body and to build spiritual wellness.

Try the "warrior" yoga pose, or "Virabhadrasana", which is believed to help strengthen the arms, shoulders, and thighs, to relieve sciatica, and to improve the balance of the body.

To do it, place one leg in front of the other, lean into your front leg until that knee makes a 90-degree angle, keeping your back leg straight, and lift both arms above your head. Try to hold this position for 1 minute, and then switch to the other side.
