In Hindu tradition yoga poses, or "asanas", are believed to help stimulate different physical processes in the body and to build spiritual wellness.

Try the "tree" yoga pose, or "Vrikshasana", is believed to calm and relax the central nervous system, stretch the entire body, and improve endurance.

To do it, stand with your feet together, then raise one leg, bending it and placing the foot of that leg on the inner thigh of your non-raised leg. Lift your hands over your head with the palms touching. Try to hold this position for 30 seconds, and then switch to the other side.
